This new restaurant in BGC will be your go-to for all-day breakfast fare in a cool al-fresco setting:
Located within breezy Serendra in BGC, Jones All Day dubs itself a "neighborhood bistro and bakery." You might remember Mr. Jones from the late 2000s to early 2010s, and Jones All Day is a bit of a spinoff of that—albeit with updates. "Jones All Day is a sort of a contemporary post-pandemic version of the original, updated to food trends," shares the Raintree Hospitality Group's Martin Wisniewski in an exchange with SPOT.ph. "We added international dishes from Asia and Europe to the... roster, but still with the comfy [and] laid-back 'get together' vibe of the original."
True enough, from the outside, you're greeted by their cool al-fresco area with tables and chairs in warm, brown-to-orange hues contrasting beautifully against the restaurant's jade-green exterior. Hovering over their tables are parasols and you'll find touches of greenery for an even livelier feel. It doesn't stop there, though; step inside and it's also cozy as can be, with a similar tangerine motif that makes it easy to feel right at home.

As for the food, you won't run out of choices as they've got an extensive menu of dishes that cover the different meals of the day and everything in between. "We wanted to showcase comfort bistro classics from all around the world, [all] easily tasty and approachable with a bit of twist," shares Wisniewski. Jones All Day opens as early as 7 a.m. and you can bet they've got great breakfast game, with savory and sweet options like the California-esque Salmon Gravlax Avocado Toastie(P450) and the fruity Banana Pecan Protein Pancakes (P295). Fans of old Mr. Jones will also be happy to know that they serve Mr. Jones' Filipino Breakfast (P350), which comes with your choice between Mr. Jones' famous tapa, garlicky longganisa, or crispy smoked bangus! These breakfast dishes are also available all day long (within their opening hours, anyway), so go ahead and have breakfast for dinner.

Looking for a light bite? They've got fresh and raw seafood like the Shrimp Aguachile (P320) with shrimp in a zippy mix of cucumber, red onions, and a sweet jalapeno sauce. You can also nosh on vibrant salads like the Jones Vegan Bowl (P575); and sandwiches using their own house-made bread, like the Open-Faced Truffled Egg Salad (P395). Alternatively, you can go for one of their heavier bistro plates, like the hearty Steak Frites (P795) or umami-packed Sizzling Szechuan NZ Lamb Ribs (P795), paired with one of their stone-fired sourdough pizzas like the Margherita Burrata (P695). And with stellar desserts that include the tropical-leaning Bananalangka Pie (P275) and classic Jones Chocolate Cake (P295), you can bet you'll be in for a good time, no matter what time of the day it is.
